Arab Spring Festival

Starting from the year “2014 “, the Arab Spring Forum in Amsterdam organizes a cultural and artistic Festival in several different areas in order to expose the cultures of various Arab countries and invite Arabian artists and intellectuals from various Arab countries to share their works with different Dutch citizens to let them experience these cultures which are striking deeply into the history, but also work to support cultural dialogue and technical cooperation between Arab intellectuals and artists and their Dutch and European counterparts on one hand, but also between the Arab and Dutch/ European citizens on the other hand.

Why is this festival ?
The Western peoples in the West supported the Arab Spring revolutions since its inception and has supported the rebels revolutionaries in various ways, including direct support or by demonstrations to support such revolutions. Also talks in the media programs and different talk-shows has been used to exert pressure on the political parties to support the revolutions on the one hand and putting pressure on European governments to urge the Arab authorities in order to listen to the demands of their peoples and give attention to their demands as well as taken them seriously into account.
